A little bit of happiness goes a long way. Don't wait ... make every day brighter, live longer and enjoy life on the Spanish Costas.

Costa Calida is the name of the predominantly tourist area of the province of Murcia. It strestches for approximately 250km along the eastern coast of Spain bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

This particular costa of Spain has a high average temperature throughout the year and is characterised by being particularly dry and arrid, with rainfall averaging less than 340mm in a year! All this means plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscape, beaches and way of life where most time is spent outdoors.

The 250km of coastline leads from the town of El Mojon (near to the border of the northern province of Alicante) to the municipality of Aquilas (bordering the province of Almeria).

Many well known areas exist within the Costa, including the Mar Menor, a salt water lagoon that is the largest in Europe at approximately 175km squared. This lagoon is separated from the sea by a 22km strecth of land known as La Manga. Extensive development has taken place here and the area is a very popular tourist destination, due to its excellent facilities, luxury accomodation and golf resorts.
