A little bit of happiness goes a long way. Don't wait ... make every day brighter, live longer and enjoy life on the Spanish Costas.

Probably the most famous of all the Spanish Costas is the Costa del Sol. Situated in the region of Andalucia in the south of Spain, it specifically refes to the coast of the province of Malaga.

Costa del Sol simply means the sunshine coast and over the past 50 years it has become a world class tourist destination. Huge developement has transformed the coastline into a holiday paradise with more hotels and exclusive resots than anywhere in Spain. Excellent facilities, transport system and beaches mean that the area is popular with families, friends and even the rich and famous who can be seen in towns such as Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Sports fans now refer to the arae as the Costa del Golf, not without reason as there are now over 50 well regarded golf courses throughout the Costa del Sol. Several of the courses have international standing and host some of the major golfing events.

Even with the dominance of tourism, the Costa del Sol also holds a strong historical heritage and culture. The capital, Malaga, was birthplace to Pablo Picasso.
